Celebrate Easter with children

Easter is the next awaited celebration after Christmas. Easter brings in a new zeal and excitement among people. Easter represents the time of rebirth, new beginnings and a note to welcome spring. Easter is the time to rejoice and to celebrate. It’s the time of Good omens and to forget the past and start afresh.

Traditional Decoration

You may celebrate the day in the traditional way Drape the surroundings in white and gold which symbolizes purity, victory and light. You would find the cross in Churches decorated with flowers to symbolize new life. Even if you are unable to drape all your surroundings with white you can go colorful and decorate your surrounding to make it beautiful.

Making Easter eggs

You can engage your children and help them learn how to colors the Easter eggs and decorate the house. Let your children be occupied in coloring the eggs. They would not only learn the art of decoration but also learn working together and enjoy too.

Celebration

Earlier people used to make the Easter Sunday with new clothes and make a new beginning Shopping for new clothes for the family, especially children makes it more exciting. Children can be engaged in games like Easter Egg hunt games Just hide them within the house and ask your children to look for them. Children would enjoy it. It would be more fun if you are a part of some club and the club organizes an ‘Easter Egg hunt’ for all the children of the community.

Easter Festival

Easter Festivals are organized at most place. You may even plan a visit to one of such festival with your family. Children would love to visit an Easter Festival.

Easter Party

You may also organize an Easter party. Gather all your friends and family. Prepare some special food for your guest and enjoy . You can also ask children to get dressed like rabbits. While you and your friends enjoy the wine and food, children would enjoy dressed as rabbits.

Don’t just let the day go by. Try to incorporate traditional celebrations with the modern celebrations and have maximum fun. Explain the significance of the day to your children. Let them know why it is a special day; tell them the stories from the bible so that they too recognize it as an auspicious day.
